- Manage external vendors, managed service providers, software providers, and security partners to ensure service quality, responsiveness, accountability, and cost-effective support.
- Provide technical leadership during incidents, outages, cybersecurity events, audits, and complex operational escalations.
- Contribute to technology roadmap planning, vendor strategy, investment prioritization, and continuous-improvement initiatives that increase resilience, efficiency, and user experience.
- Develop and communicate briefings and presentations to senior business and technology stakeholders on IT configuration and system architecture changes and their impacts on operations.
Work Experience and Job Skills:
- 8-12 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3-5 years leading or supervising enterprise IT operations, service delivery, technical support, or infrastructure functions.
- Demonstrated hands-on technical depth in Microsoft 365 administration, cloud or SaaS platforms, endpoint and device management, identity and access management, systems support, networking fundamentals, and enterprise collaboration technologies.
- Experience with information-security controls, vulnerability remediation, configuration management, incident coordination, access governance, and monitoring practices.
- Experience implementing automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools that improve business functions and produce measurable operational-efficiency gains.
- Experience developing standard operating procedures, dashboards, service metrics, and process improvements that enhance responsiveness and operational performance.
- Experience managing vendors, managed service providers, software providers, and security partners.
- Familiarity with NIST and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity practices, federal security expectations, and risk-based governance approaches relevant to contractor operations.
- Prior experience supporting cleared programs, secure federal environments, or mission-driven government-contracting organizations is preferred.
