As a Sr. Manager FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, you will serve as the finance leader for Target’s International and Domestic First Mile Transportation operations, partnering with leaders across Supply Chain to shape strategy, influence investment decisions, and optimize financial and operational performance. You will:
- Lead financial strategy and partnership for International and Domestic First Mile Transportation, connecting operational performance, financial outcomes, and long-term business priorities.
- Own core financial routines and long-range planning, including annual planning, forecasting, performance management, and financial modeling; translate results into forward-looking insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Partner across Supply Chain and the enterprise to evaluate opportunities that improve transportation efficiency, service, capacity, and cost while balancing near- and long-term business objectives.
- Advance analytical capabilities and ways of working by identifying opportunities to improve financial models, processes, reporting, and decision-support tools across Transportation Finance.
- Develop clear executive-level narratives and recommendations, translating complex financial and operational information into actionable insights that enable senior leaders to make informed business decisions.
A successful candidate will bring strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment. You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior leaders without direct authority, and balancing rigorous financial analysis with a strong understanding of operational and enterprise considerations. This role requires the ability to move between long-term strategy and day-to-day business performance while building trusted partnerships across the organization.
About you:
- Four-year college degree, preferably in finance or business-related area. MBA a plus.
- 6+ years finance experience and/or business experience
- Strong analytical aptitude and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage weekly routines, and effectively prioritize project deadlines
- Ability to work with all levels of management with high level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction
- Willingness to establish and nurture connections across the enterprise to build a network of partners and resources
- Embraces all perspective through empathy, curiosity, and listening
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location (Tues, Wed, & Thurs) the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
