Learning Experience & Knowledge Manager

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for leading the development, growth, and management of the organization's learning ecosystem (learning experience and learning culture) as well as its knowledge management system. This role ensures that employees have access to strategic knowledge, continuously develop their professional capabilities, and that the organization's knowledge assets are effectively captured, securely maintained, and leveraged to drive business innovation.

Job Description:

1. Learning Experience & Culture Development

• Develop L&D Strategy: Design and implement the annual Learning & Development blueprint aligned with the organization's business objectives and strategic priorities.

• Modernize the Learning Experience: Create engaging, employee-centric learning solutions by leveraging approaches such as microlearning, social learning, blended learning, and gamification.

• Drive a Learning Culture: Initiate and lead internal learning initiatives, including knowledge-sharing sessions, learning communities, and continuous learning campaigns to foster a culture of lifelong learning.

• Measure Learning Impact: Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using metrics such as Return on Investment (ROI) and Return on Expectations (ROE), and continuously improve learning outcomes based on insights.

2. Knowledge Management

• Knowledge Management Governance: Establish and optimize the organization's knowledge management framework, including platforms (e.g., Intranet, Notion, Confluence) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for capturing, organizing, and sharing organizational knowledge.

• Knowledge Retention: Identify, capture, and document critical institutional and tacit knowledge from subject matter experts to minimize knowledge loss due to employee turnover.

• Knowledge Accessibility: Ensure learning materials, policies, best practices, and case studies are well-organized, easily searchable, accessible, and consistently updated.

• Knowledge Audit: Conduct periodic reviews of organizational knowledge assets to ensure information remains relevant, accurate, and up to date while removing obsolete content.

3. Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate with Heads of Department and business leaders to identify capability gaps, assess learning needs, and develop competency-building initiatives aligned with business priorities.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external learning providers, e-learning platform vendors, facilitators, and consultants to ensure high-quality learning solutions and cost-effective service delivery.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree from any major from reputable university

• Minimum 10 years of experience in People Development / Knowledge Management / Digital Learning Platforms.

• Hands-on experience in implementing and administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management (KM) platforms; Moodle experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE and Agile Learning Design) as well as Change Management principles to support learning transformation and organizational capability development.

• Good communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.

• Strong managerial & Project Management Skills: Ability to efficiently and effectively plan, manage, and execute a project is an essential aspect of this role. This includes the ability to create project schedules, allocate resources, identify risks, and coordinate teams to ensure projects are completed according to plan and on time.

• High level of empathy to understand and address the learning and development needs of employees across all organizational levels.
