Join Our Team
We are looking for a passionate, organised and people-focused Depot performance officer to join our Guernsey depot.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people succeed, building strong relationships and making a real difference to employee development. You'll play a key role in coordinating, delivering and supporting training activities on Guernsey, ensuring our colleagues receive the skills, knowledge and support they need to thrive.
The successful candidate will be a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for learning and development.
What You'll Do
As a Depot performance officer, you'll be responsible for coordinating and supporting a wide range of training and development activities, including:
Managing the day-to-day administration and coordination of training on island.
Maintaining training records, systems and ensuring all mandatory and developmental training is planned, tracked and completed.
Updating EP Morris and other training systems to ensure accurate records are maintained.
Coordinate and deliver CPC courses, inductions, End Point Assessments, mentor training and driver development programmes.
Building strong relationships with depot management team to identify training needs and coordinate training delivery.
Plan training schedules and allocate resources effectively.
Monitoring trainee progress and producing regular progress reports for key stakeholders.
Producing KPI reports and analysing training performance data.
Maintaining training materials, personnel records and general office administration.
Taking meeting minutes and supporting the wider Operations team as required.

Mange Green Road portal and driver scores through coaching and guidance
Driver Development and Safety Responsibilities
As part of this role, you will also:
Manage the GreenRoad driver safety system, overseeing administration, reporting and system compliance.
Conduct driver ride-alongs and coaching sessions to improve driving standards and support ongoing development.
Monitor and drive improvements in GreenRoad performance, with a focus on maintaining depot safety scores and vehicle idling rates below the UK Bus average.
Investigate operational incidents and accidents, gathering evidence and identifying root causes.
Produce clear, comprehensive incident investigation reports and recommend actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Support depot management teams with safety initiatives, coaching and compliance requirements.

Desirable Experience
Experience in a training, learning and development, operational or transport environment.
Experience delivering training, coaching or presentations.
Knowledge of CPC requirements and driver development processes.
Experience using training management systems and performance reporting tools.
Experience conducting investigations and preparing formal reports.
GreenRoad knowledge or experience would be advantageous.
Experience in People management and formal process’
