Our Team:
Semtech's Sales Enablement team is building something exciting, powered by AI. Sitting within Sales Operations, we are standing up a dedicated enablement function designed to multiply seller impact — integrating AI-powered tools, scalable certifications, and sellers skills training into the daily workflows of sellers, distributors, and reps globally. Our mission is simple: scalable solutions powered by AI. We're deploying platforms like Claude, MS 365, Vinton AI, and Absorb LMS. This is an opportunity to shape how a global commercial organization learns, upskills, and sells — with AI at the center of that transformation.
Role Summary
Hands-on channel enablement role responsible for building and running the enablement engine that supports Semtech’s distributor, manufacturing rep, and reseller community. This specialist owns partner-facing content flow — partnering with Business Unit SMEs to translate technical product knowledge into professional, on-brand training and certification assets — and manages the operational cadence of channel learning programs on Semtech’s Learning Management System. The role also builds Salesforce CRM reporting and SOP training for external partners and reps, and supports the broader Commercial Team on AI tool adoption and enablement. The ideal candidate combines technical writing depth, Salesforce fluency, and the ability to work independently through ambiguity to deliver measurable partner readiness at scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Channel Enablement & Learning Programs
- Own the content flow for Semtech’s Tiered Partner Programs and broader channel enablement: coordinate BU subject matter experts, gather source material, and translate it into professional, on-brand training content, job aids, and certification assets
- Apply technical writing skills to structure product and process content into consistent, scalable learning modules suitable for external audiences
- Build and maintain channel-facing certification paths on Absorb LMS — including internal seller certifications, FAE certifications, and distributor/rep enablement tracks
- Design and deliver Salesforce SOP training and onboarding content for external partners and reps; support their use of Semtech systems and portals
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align internal and external learning experiences and maintain content quality standards
- Continuously assess partner training effectiveness through completion metrics, learner feedback, and BU input; iterate to improve
Channel Programs & Operations
- Serve as the enablement point-of-contact for Semtech’s distributor, rep, and reseller community; work directly with partners to identify training needs, content gaps, and enablement priorities
- Manage the operational cadence of channel enablement programs: enrolment, communications, launch, and reporting
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that surface channel enablement activity and performance, certification status, and program engagement to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to Tiered Partner Programs’ partner-facing communications and resource hub content
- Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers and BU partner-facing leads to align enablement delivery with in-market priorities
AI Tools & Commercial Enablement
- Support the Sales Enablement Manager on the AI tool stack across the Commercial Team — including hands-on execution on Claude, Copilot, Vinton AI, AI role-play, and content management tools
- Contribute to AI training content creation and delivery for internal sellers and external partners
- Participate in the AI Ambassadors program as a supporting resource; help pilot, document, and roll out new AI workflows
- Maintain enablement content on Commercial Team SharePoint; keep AI tool documentation, prompt libraries, and adoption resources current
- Develop AI Resources for Channel Enablement Team and Partners
- Support tool rollout communications, change management, and adoption tracking
