Summary of our opportunity
ICG is one of the leading investment managers in the CLO sector and Liquid Funds space and currently manages over $20bn of assets across these strategies.
The EU and US CLO Operations Teams are responsible for tracking investments and ensuring investors and portfolio managers have accurate and timely portfolio information. The team is also responsible for the documentation of CLOs and deals extensively with third party administrators and trustees. Activities will also include testing to ensure the portfolio remains within its pre-agreed compliance boundaries.
Summary of Opportunity
The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Monitor daily traded cash projections.
Produce hypothetical trade results for Portfolio Managers proposed trades.
Produce detailed weekly portfolio status reports and present to Portfolio Manager. Advise on compliance test results, funding requirements and trading opportunities.
Work with Portfolio Management team, marketing and client relations, finance and external Middle Office provider.
Attend KPI meetings with Administrators and external Middle Office provider.
Identify and resolve issues relating to day to day trading activity, investor queries and service provider escalations.
Provide oversight for external Middle Office in monthly and payment date reporting, as well as reviewing waterfall calculations.
Review and interpret complex legal documentation.
Key Requirements/ Qualifications
Essential
Experience with a CLO Manager or alternative investment manager, Trustee or CLO administrator
Relevant background in finance, economics, business, or accounting
Advanced Excel skills, use of Excel Add-in’s a plus
An ability to utilise AI tools
Ability to remain calm under pressure when working to tight deadlines
Comfortable and confident in dealing with Portfolio Managers and other team members
A positive attitude, good teamwork and relationship building skills
Ability to read and digest complex legal and technical documents
Desirable
Exposure to systems for loan management (e.g. Allvue, WSO/Nexus)
Proactive in problem solving
Enjoys being a part of a team but is able to work independently
A strong change and development mindset
