Why this role matters
We are looking for an experienced Business System Analyst to help translate complex business needs into scalable and effective technical solutions.
You will be responsible for defining system requirements, analysing business processes and system behaviour, and ensuring that proposed solutions meet end-user and business needs. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, Solution Architects, Designers, and business stakeholders throughout the full solution delivery lifecycle.
The role involves designing high-level system solutions, defining components, interfaces, integrations, and data flows, and supporting teams during implementation and testing. You will also use data and user insights to identify opportunities for improving business efficiency, customer experience, and product performance.
The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do
- Lead end-to-end requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation, including functional and non-functional requirements, exceptions, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date specifications and act as the main point of contact for requirement clarification.
- Identify and propose system and product solutions based on business needs, user experience, system constraints, and data analysis.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify objectives, align expectations, and resolve conflicting or ambiguous requirements.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to define solution components, interfaces, integrations, and data flows.
- Own story refinement and ensure that requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and supported by clear acceptance criteria.
- Support Developers and QA Engineers during implementation and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
- Lead feature delivery within the team, managing scope, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Business System Analyst in software development.
- Strong knowledge of requirements management techniques, including Use Cases, User Stories, BPMN, and UML.
- Hands-on experience designing technical solutions and system integrations from scratch.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, Web Services, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience designing integration flows involving multiple systems, databases, and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements, system architecture, data flows, information security, and basic UI/UX principles.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Strong analytical thinking, ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.
