We are seeking motivated and curious interns to join our Digital Security team for a focused internship in cybersecurity. This program provides exposure to multiple domains of information security, real-world security challenges, and collaboration with experienced professionals across Devon. Interns will learn and apply Digital Security principles and workplace practices through a combination of team and individual project assignments — analyzing problems, gathering requirements, and helping determine and implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Digital Security team members and business stakeholders to understand security requirements, risks, and objectives.
- Analyze security problems, gather requirements, and help determine and implement solutions.
- Support Information Assurance activities — assessing controls, policies, and compliance.
- Assist with Incident Response — monitoring, triage, investigation, and documentation of security events.
- Contribute to Risk Management — identifying, assessing, and helping track and remediate risks.
- Support Cloud Security efforts across Devon's cloud environments.
- Assist with Threat Intelligence — researching threats, indicators, and emerging attack trends.
- Participate in team meetings and cross-functional projects to gain exposure to security operations and technology strategies.
- Learn and apply best practices in security operations, data protection, and governance.
- Stay current with emerging security technologies and threat trends through active learning and professional development

Education:
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze problems, gather requirements, and implement solutions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Interest in cybersecurity and technology-driven solutions.
- Willingness to learn new tools and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Digital literacy and attention to detail.

Requirements:
Full-time student enrollment.
Pursuing a degree in information security, information technology, management information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
GPA 3.0 or higher.
