FLP SUMMER INTERNSHIP
The Financial Leadership Program (FLP), a two-year leadership development program, designed to prepare career driven, high-potential talent from diverse backgrounds for leadership roles in Fidelity’s Finance organization. The program, which was founded in 1998, combines four six-month assignments across multiple business units, workshops and training sessions to further develop your critical leadership, business, and analytical skills. Participants in Fidelity’s 10-week FLP Summer Internship Program will have an opportunity to work with our Finance leaders, participate in development activities and learn about Fidelity’s Finance organization. The program offers diverse assignments that allow participants to be valuable members of a team and contribute to one of Fidelity’s businesses. Upon completion of the Summer Internship Program, Interns are evaluated in consideration of a full-time offer to join the two-year Financial Leadership Program, upon completion of their MBA program. Fidelity Finance hosts a series of trainings and networking events many of which are unique to the FLP. These events are designed to broaden your understanding of Fidelity’s businesses and prepare you for a leadership role in Finance.
HOW YOUR WORK IMPACTS THE ORGANIZATION During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a strategic, high-priority project addressing acritical initiatives of the business unit and Finance community. You will have the opportunity to work across core finance functions, including pricing, product, customer, cost and business driver analysis, and financial planning and analysis.
THE VALUE YOU DELIVER • Lead strategic initiatives and drive decision-making through project management, problem solving and the delivery of insights supporting recommendations • Partner with senior finance leaders to assess the business challenges and opportunities and build meaningful relationships with business partners to deliver a long lasting impact to the organization • Bring intellectual curiosity, sound business judgement and financial stewardship to execute on the strategic vision of the organization • Prepare final deliverables and materials summarizing the analytical findings of your work, along with meaningful recommendations for senior finance and business leaders • Leverage financial modeling and analytics to drive decision-making, highlighting risks and opportunities with data
THE EXPERTISE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of significant work experience with increased responsibility
- Open to diverse experiences and backgrounds
- Ability to work in Boston, MA office based on rotational assignments and final placement
- Interest in a Leadership Development Rotational Program
- Role is intended for MBA graduate students with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2028
- An unrestricted right to work in the US on a permanent basis

The base salary range for this position is $39 - $70 per hour.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
