As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate professionally with the community. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, unauthorized-access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access-control issues promptly to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership, completing required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
