Required Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Minimum of two years of Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or ICU experience
South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills
Comfort practicing in a telehealth environment
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive virtual urgent care services utilizing MUSC Health's telemedicine platform
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and episodic medical conditions
Practice with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Improve healthcare access for underserved and vulnerable patient populations
Utilize innovative technology to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care
Interpret diagnostic studies and develop evidence-based treatment plans
Coordinate referrals and transitions of care when appropriate
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practice programs
Precept future APP students and contribute to a culture of learning and clinical excellence
