This is a remote position.
Position Summary:
Whip is seeking a Sales & Customer Experience Agent to support customer interactions across our rental car platform with a strong focus on conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys speaking with customers, and can confidently drive sales through Calls and SMS conversations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, sales-oriented, and comfortable handling high-volume interactions while identifying opportunities to upsell and retain customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):
Sales-Driven Customer Engagement
- Handle inbound and outbound Calls and SMS conversations with a sales-first mindset
- Identify opportunities to convert leads, upsell services, and retain existing customers
- Assist customers with rental inquiries, booking support, and account-related questions
- Provide a professional and positive customer experience across every interaction
- Support customers through issues or concerns while maintaining focus on retention and revenue opportunities
Operations & Customer Support
- Maintain accurate customer information and interaction notes within internal systems
- Follow company SOPs and workflows to ensure smooth customer experiences
- Coordinate with internal teams (claims, billing, fleet, etc.) to help resolve customer issues efficiently
- Adapt quickly to operational changes and new processes in a startup environment
Qualifications Required:
- 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles with a strong sales, retention, or customer service focus
- Experience working in high-volume environments involving Calls and messaging
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and SMS platforms
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent or highly proficient in English

Salary: $8 - $10 USD per hour; depending on experience
