Position Summary
Who are we?Right across the Pipera metro station, the Samsung Shared Services Centre Europe, established in 2016 in Bucharest (Romania) covers Financial, Customer Service and HR processes for Samsung subsidiaries across Europe.
Role and Responsibilities
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and maintaining the IT infrastructure within the organization. Your role will involve handling a wide range of IT-related tasks, from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Device Management: Install, reinstall, and troubleshoot company laptops and devices to ensure seamless operation.
- Application Support: Provide support and training for Samsung-specific applications and tools, enhancing user proficiency and productivity.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve a variety of software and hardware issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software assets, and user accounts for efficient inventory control.
- Supply Management: Ensure a stable inventory of consumable IT supplies, including peripherals, cables, and accessories.
- Employee Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding of new employees by setting up devices and configuring access permissions.
- Security Management: Manage access control and CCTV systems to maintain a secure IT environment.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports to management for informed decision-making.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize various security and finance tools as required to support organizational needs.
Your skills:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or help desk environment (internships or equivalent practical experience may also be considered)
- Strong knowledge of Windows PC operation and configuration.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and connectivity support
- Proactive problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
- English level – advanced
Contract type: 6 months fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension
