Our Summer Vacation Scheme is open to penultimate-year and final-year law students, as well as law graduates. Candidates who are successful in the application process will be offered a place on the scheme.
The Summer Vacation Scheme offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of commercial legal practice by working closely with our partners and associates on real client matters. Through meaningful involvement in client work and training opportunities, you will develop your legal and commercial awareness, gain practical insight into the role of a commercial lawyer, and build a genuine understanding of our people, culture, and the work we do.
We are currently recruiting for vacation scheme in summer 2027.

Placement
Our Vacation Placement Scheme is a great opportunity to get to know us and find out whether we are the right firm for you. It also gives us the chance to get to know you and your potential.
Designed for law students and graduates who are interested in joining us after graduation, the programme runs for four weeks during the summer and provides valuable insight into life at our firm.
You will gain first-hand exposure to our people, culture, and the work we do, helping you develop a deeper understanding of a career in commercial law. The programme is designed to help you build your legal and commercial awareness while giving you a clear picture of what it is like to be part of our team.
Many of our trainees began their journey with us through the Vacation Placement Scheme, making it an excellent pathway to a Training Contract.
We welcome applications from law students and graduates with a strong academic record. Candidates should have achieved, or be on track to achieve, at least an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent). We are looking for individuals who are motivated, curious, collaborative, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
