Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Electronic Reporting in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, access awareness, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a data center environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and support Allied Universal operational procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
