The OpportunityAs a Washington DC - Tax LLM - M&A NTS - Senior Associate, you will navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, providing tailored tax services to optimize strategies, minimize risks, and seize opportunities for sustainable growth. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team that drives compliance and delivers innovative solutions to help clients stay ahead in an ever-changing tax environment.
As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You will analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain professional and technical standards. In this role at PwC, you will leverage your skills to deliver quality work, anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and embrace increased ambiguity. You will be comfortable navigating complex situations, using these moments as opportunities to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions to provide strategic insights
- Developing and implementing tax-efficient structures to optimize client tax positions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate tax and finance systems for enhanced reporting
- Advising on domestic restructuring to align with tax regulations and optimize benefits
- Preparing and reviewing consolidated tax returns for multiple affiliated companies
- Conducting post-deal integration to align financial and operational aspects of merged entities
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and provide actionable recommendations
- Navigating the global tax landscape to support clients in minimizing risks and seizing opportunities
- Mentoring junior team members to enhance their understanding of tax strategies and compliance
- Building and maintaining client relationships to understand and anticipate their tax needs
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Laws degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam

September 26, 2026The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
