Job Description Summary
This role will be integral in developing data and sales tools to support our personal care product line. This role involves managing and evaluating product performance studies, coordinating with external vendors, and supporting research methodology and survey development. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand and support customer needs under the direction of the Global Manager of Performance Validation.Job Description
Responsibilities
1. You will be responsible for performance evaluation of existing and new technologies in the personal care product range to support business unit strategies.
2. You will design experimentation on the bench with conventional and/or non-conventional/creative approaches that will lead to unique product claims and benefits (with new formula bases, raw ingredients and processing techniques)
3. You will organize panel testing to evaluate sensory and performance benefits.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced understanding of personal care formulation development
- Intermediate knowledge of standard testing procedures for personal care industry
- Intermediate knowledge of personal care industry key market trends
Position Requirements:
Education: A bachelors degree or higher in a life science.
Experience: 3+ years experience in personal care formulating and/or ingredient testing
IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a strong capability for presentation creation, Project management software
Language Skills: Verbal and written fluency in which language(s) English, Portuguese.
Working arrangements: Lab position, on site 5 days weekly
Traveling required: Trade shows, customer visits as required.
