Cabinet Maker
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Full-time | Permanent
We’re looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join a highly skilled workshop producing exceptional bespoke furniture and architectural joinery for high-end residential and commercial projects.
This is an opportunity to work on genuinely varied, one-off pieces rather than repetitive production work. Projects range from bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture through to libraries, staircases, doors, windows and unique architectural joinery.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced workshop team, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke furniture and joinery from technical drawings through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manufacturing bespoke furniture and architectural joinery
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Producing one-off and individually designed pieces
- Working with a variety of solid timbers and sheet materials
- Using traditional cabinet-making techniques alongside modern machinery
- Carrying out accurate cutting, machining, assembly and finishing
- Maintaining exceptionally high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Working closely with designers and other members of the workshop team
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in hearing from experienced Cabinet Makers, Bench Joiners or Furniture Makers who take genuine pride in their craft.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Strong experience within bespoke cabinet making, furniture or high-end joinery
- Excellent bench skills
- Confidence working independently from technical drawings
- Experience producing furniture or joinery from start to finish
- A strong understanding of timber, materials and traditional construction methods
- Excellent attention to detail
- A quality-first approach to your work
Experience within high-end residential furniture, bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture or architectural joinery would be particularly relevant.
