Housekeeping Supervisor
Water's Edge Assisted Living Facility in Lake Wales is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and maintenance team within our senior community. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents while advancing your career in healthcare support services. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all resident areas, common spaces, and staff facilities
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote high performance and adherence to safety and hygiene standards
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet regulatory requirements and company policies
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained and address any deficiencies promptly
- Collaborate with management to improve operational procedures and resident satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and facility policies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and management
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in cleaning or healthcare support is a plus
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
