High Vacuum Technician

In this role you will be a High Vacuum Technician for a client that is in the electronics manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repair of high and ultra-high vacuum systems. 

This is a direct hire role that must be performed on-site. 

The pay is $80,000 to $90,000

Job Requirements: 

• 2+ years of hands on experience in high or ultra-high vacuum systems
• Strong knowledge of vacuum theory, pressure measurement, and system design
• Knowledge of stainless steel piping, fittings, valves, and clean room procedures
• Experience with thin film deposition, semiconductor, or scientific instrumentation environments is a plus
• Must have precise welding experience
• Ability to install, assemble, and maintain high and ultra-high vacuum systems and components
• Ability to troubleshoot vacuum leaks and perform leak detection using helium mass spectrometers
• Operate and maintain pumps (mechanical, turbomolecular, cryogenic, diffusion, and ion pumps)
• Calibrate and repair vacuum gauges and controllers
