Schedule: Full-time

Base salary: $212,000.00-$240,000.00 per year

Excess Shift and On-call coverage compensation

CME Allowance: $5,000

Malpractice coverage with tail

What You Will Do

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join an established, stable and experienced team of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners 
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Full-time
• Busy Pediatric Hospitalist Service
• Great access to Pediatric Subspecialists
• High acuity
• Nice mix of 10 hr and 24 hr in-house shifts
• See patients on General Pediatric Floor and Pediatric Nursery
• Some PICU coverage
• Rare delivery room coverage and ER consultations as needed
• Opportunity to teach Medical Students 
• 24 Pediatric beds
• 4 PICU beds
• 30 Pediatric Nursery beds
• Excellent office support staff
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist 
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
