We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong creative eye and be able to create visually appealing designs. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating graphics and layouts for print, web, social media and marketing materials. You will be collaborating with our marketing team to ensure that our brand is visually consistent across all platforms. You will also be learning to execute to run large format printing in our in house print shop. For the right candidate, this may also be an opportunity to learn and implement video editing in Adobe premiere as well as utilize emerging AI technologies in your workflow.

Responsibilities:

- Graphic Design: Create visually appealing designs for various media, including print and digital, such as logos, posters, banners, brochures, social media graphics, menus, promotions and more.

- Layout Design: Arrange text, images, and other visual elements to create balanced and aesthetically pleasing layouts for publications, websites, and marketing materials.

- Brand Identity: Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for brands, ensuring that all design materials align with the brand's guidelines and values.

- Image Editing: Edit and retouch images to improve quality and compatibility with the design project.

- Software Proficiency: Utilize graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), to create and edit designs.

- Web Design and Development: Design and optimize web graphics, layouts, and user interfaces, often involving knowledge of WordPress and/or Squarespace and responsive design principles.

- Print Production: Prepare design files for printing, ensuring proper color modes, resolutions, and formats are used.

- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients or project stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide design updates, and incorporate feedback.

- Market Research: Stay current with design trends and industry best practices to inform design decisions.

- Presentation: Present design concepts and ideas to clients or team members and explain the rationale behind design choices.

- Print and Digital Material: Produce final design assets in various formats, ensuring they meet quality and technical specifications. Large format printing and finishing of signage and collateral to support marketing efforts on property. Ensure correct placement of all print and digital materials in all departments across the entire Boomtown property, including KOA, Chevron, Car Wash, VGC, and all Boomtown outlets.

Requirements

 Requirements:

 - 2+ years of experience in graphic design.

 - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator. 

- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design. 

- Experience with web design using WordPress and/or Squarespace, HTML/CSS experience a plus.

 - The ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 

- Demonstrated ability to efficiently complete tasks and projects on tight deadlines. This includes the capacity to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently deliver results promptly.
