Description
Responsibilities
- Support the final stages of an active Blue Yonder WMS implementation and assist directly with go-live activities
- Manage day-to-day system functionality post go-live, ensuring the WMS operates smoothly across warehouse operations
- Troubleshoot system issues as they arise, identifying root causes and working through resolution quickly under live operating conditions
- Train warehouse staff, supervisors, and other end users on system functionality and best practices
- Analyze and understand underlying data structures and how information flows through the system, including how transactions, inventory movements, and configurations are represented "under the hood"
- Serve as a go-to resource for questions related to system configuration, workflows, and functionality during and after go-live
- Coordinate with IT, warehouse operations, and vendor support (as needed) to resolve issues and ensure system stability
- Document common issues, fixes, and processes to build internal knowledge for ongoing support
Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience with at least one full Blue Yonder WMS implementation (required)
- Strong understanding of WMS functionality and configuration, with the ability to manage the system post-implementation
- Experience troubleshooting live system issues in a warehouse/distribution environment
- Experience training end users, including warehouse staff and supervisors, on new systems
- Solid understanding of underlying data structures and how they map to warehouse operations and transactions
- Ability to start immediately and support an active go-live
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment during go-live
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL or database querying to investigate data issues directly
- Familiarity with integrations between Blue Yonder and ERP systems
- Prior experience supporting multiple go-lives or multi-site WMS rollouts
Base Salary: $100K–$120K, based on experience.
