Job Description
The Central Sales Reporting Analyst will provide support for financial planning and analysis of trade promotions within the revenue growth management organization. This individual will also lead ad-hoc pricing/promotion related projects and analysis for the area.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain centralized trade forecast model, with monthly responsibilities of reconciling system and forecast, tracking pacing of consumer incentives spend, and forecasting & funding national impacts
Fulfil quarterly documentation related to SOX compliance requirements
Support coordination efforts with trade promotion management system IT teams to develop and maintain key support systems to support trade controls, budgeting requests, and key inputs to forecast planning
Investigate systemic trends within trade controls processes and identify methodologies and approaches to solve
Participate in monthly promotional deep dive routine, seeking to find and highlight promotional trends and emerging strategies for success across customers & brands
Support ad hoc requests across RGM directors and VP
Assist in leading annual budgeting process including methodology alignment across business units and quantifying key assumptions within trade build
Work across functional counterparts to track metrics and improve decision making & processes across key projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (i.e. Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) is preferred
Minimum of 1 years of experience in Sales Finance, Corporate Finance, or Consulting is preferred
Experience in CPG is a nice to have
Demonstrated financial and analytical skills, as well as broad business acumen
Good problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
