Bathing Program Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:Within the context of a client and family centered care model and in accordance with established vision and values of the organization, assists clients in the bathing program with all aspects of bathing. Records client’s bathing time; reports concerns or unusual occurrences to the Registered Nurse and records unusual occurrences on client’s records. Maintains familiarity with all aspects of the Adult Day Centre and describes Centre activities to clients as directed.QUALIFICATIONS:QUALIFICATIONSEducation & Experience Grade 12 or equivalent. Recognized Home Support/Resident Care Attendant Certificate. Current First Aid and CPR certificates.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities� Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.� Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.� Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.� Ability to operate related equipment.� Ability to deal effectively with seniors.� Ability to observe and recognize changes in clients.� Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.� Ability to organize and prioritize work.Prior to Posting, contact CompClass
