Description
This position is responsible for analyzing business processes and operational needs to recommend and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency, service delivery, and data management across the organization. Serving as the primary liaison between departmental users, software vendors, and IT staff, the role oversees enterprise applications, workflow automation, reporting, and system improvements.
Key responsibilities include gathering and validating requirements, coordinating technology projects, administering and supporting applications like SharePoint and Laserfiche, developing workflows and reports, performing system testing, and providing user support and training. The role also includes website management, document imaging support, and assisting with video streaming of Village meetings. Strong analytical, communication, customer service, and project management skills are essential. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Information Officer and evaluated through project results, user satisfaction, and alignment with organizational technology goals.
- SharePoint administration, workflows, form creation and management
- Website creation, management, design and updating
- Document imaging support with Laserfiche, including forms and workflow
- Analyzes business processes and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency through technology.
- Gathers, documents, and validates business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with departments to identify operational challenges and recommend solutions.
- Assists with software evaluations, vendor demonstrations, and solution selection.
- Coordinates technology projects from planning through implementation.
- Assists with system testing, user acceptance testing, and change management.
- Administers and supports enterprise software applications, including SharePoint and other systems.
- Configures workflows, reports, forms, and system settings.
- Performs routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs using enterprise data.
- Provides application support and user training.
- Develop documentation and user procedures.
- Coordinates with vendors to resolve software issues.
- Identifies opportunities to improve business processes through automation, workflow optimization, and emerging technologies.
- Assists with video streaming of various Village meetings.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and requirements gathering techniques.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
- Knowledge of Laserfiche, forms and workflow.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of workflow automation tools.
- Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard development.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python preferred.

Safety
This position requires enforcing and following all Village of Pinehurst and OSHA safety regulations.
- Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must possess the visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, operate a computer terminal, and do extensive reading.
