The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

The Cook position is responsible for coordinating all facets of the kitchen and meal preparation within the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center program. This position ensures that all nutritional needs for the residents are met as well as ensuring that all Health Dept. and other external requirements are followed. The Recuperative Care program supports 70 clients daily and we provide three nutritious meals and snacks we make in-house.

 

This is a kitchen position responsible for the menu planning, food purchasing, cooking, and cleaning within the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center, which is located at 2175 California Street in Denver.
