Description
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and currently looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to lead our client’s team. If you have a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet productivity targets, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise team members on shift.
- Identify any maintenance issues, order repairs and offer technical guidance.
- Inspect equipment and products for quality purposes ensuring standards are met.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized sorting area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication.
- Experience with operating machinery is preferred.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE in an industrial setting.
- Computation of basic math skills.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection provided).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move pallets and materials weighing up to 85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must have steel-toed footwear in good repair.
