Nurse Educator- Post Partum 5SB and 6SB- Full Time- Days

Bring your talents to Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for staff development including orientation, in-services, continuing and mandated education for all levels of staff. Responsibilities included but are not limited to: conducting clinical rounds, identifying the individual and collective learning needs of staff, developing course curriculum and teaching classes, incorporating research findings and using cutting-edge technology (e.g., on-line learning modules and simulation). This role promotes best clinical practices and inspires award-winning nurses. The Clinical Nurse Educator provides leadership in the development, implementation, and review of Nursing Standards.
This is a full-time day position in the Postpartum Units at NewYork- Presbyterian/ Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital
Preferred Criteria
· Nursing Education experience, including simulation experience
· Women's Health Nursing experience
· Basic Life Support Instructor Certification
· Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor
· National certification in Nursing Professional Development and/ or clinical specialty
Required Criteria
· Minimum of 4 years related experience
· Current NYS RN licensure
· Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education
· BCLS certification through the AHA
