Essential Functions
1. Salaried Recruiting
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried roles (e.g., supervisors, engineers, corporate positions)
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and recruiting strategies
- Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers
- Ensure consistent, high-quality candidate experience
- Drive improvements in time-to-fill and quality of hire
2. Recruiting Process, Compliance & Systems
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policy and employment regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely data in ATS/HRIS (Workday preferred)
- Reinforce consistent use of recruiting processes across hiring managers
- Train leaders on interviewing practices, documentation, and system usage
- Identify gaps and implement process improvements
3. Pipeline Development
- Build relationships with trade schools, technical programs, and workforce partners
- Develop pipelines for welders and other skilled hourly roles
- Support hiring events, school outreach, and apprenticeship/internship programs
- Partner with operations to align pipeline efforts with workforce needs
- Contribute to strategies that promote internal movement into skilled roles
4. HR Team & Operational Support
- Support HR team priorities as needed (e.g., onboarding, training coordination, projects, etc.)
- Partner with HR and business leaders on workforce planning initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and tools
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of recruiting experience (corporate, agency, or blended)
- Experience recruiting for salaried/professional roles
- Working knowledge of recruiting compliance and employment practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
Preferred:
- Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience
- Experience hiring for skilled trades or technical roles
- Workday experience with ATS/HRIS systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) capability helpful
