About the role
As one of the leading, global trading and investment platforms, Saxo is a 30-year-old fintech on a mission to get curious people invested in the world. We are strengthening our Prague-based Client Experience team and are looking for a Junior Business Analyst. You will support the improvement of client experience during onboarding and ongoing due diligence (ODD) for both private and corporate clients. The role focuses on smoother processes, clearer communication, and strong KYC/compliance. You will work closely with a senior local owner of these processes and with stakeholders across Sales, Compliance, Operations, IT, and global teams.
Responsibilities
Process analysis & improvement
- Analyse end-to-end onboarding and ODD processes (digital and paper) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Track key KPIs (e.g. processing time, straight-through rates, rework, backlogs) and prepare insights to support decisions.
- Help document requirements and changes for process and system improvements.
KYC, compliance & quality checks
- Support optimisation of local KYC, onboarding, and ODD procedures, balancing regulatory needs and client experience.
- Perform basic spot checks on cases and highlight recurring issues or risks.
Client communication & materials
- Review manual and automated client communications for clarity, consistency, and alignment with standards.
- Help maintain and improve communication templates and support translations and updates of application forms and instructions.
Client feedback & complaints
- Collect and analyse client feedback, surveys, and complaints related to onboarding and ODD.
- Prepare short summaries and suggested actions to improve satisfaction and conversion.
Implementation & support
- Support implementation of global changes and local initiatives (including user testing and basic documentation).
- Contribute to AI and automation initiatives with use cases, test input, and feedback.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks such as incidents, regulatory changes, and management requests affecting onboarding and ODD.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data/Information Management, or related field.
- Suitable for graduates or candidates with up to 2 years’ experience in business analysis, project support, operations, or a related area.
- Proficiency in Polish or Czech; good English for cooperation with global teams.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in data-driven process improvement.
- Good command of Microsoft Office; exposure to dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) or SQL is a plus. Familiarity with using large language models (LLMs) for data analysis is an advantage.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to write client-friendly texts is an advantage.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
