Socket is seeking a customer-focused Retail Customer Service Specialist to join our team in the Warrensburg area. In this role, you will serve as the face of Socket, providing exceptional in-person support and guidance to customers visiting our retail location. You will educate customers on our fiber internet services, answer questions, identify solutions that meet their needs, and help create a positive and welcoming experience.


This role will service the Warrensburg, MO area.


What You’ll Do

Key responsibilities include:

· Greet and assist customers visiting the retail location. 

· Educate customers on Socket's fiber services and available solutions. 

· Answer questions regarding products, billing, accounts, and service options. 

· Process payments, service orders, and account changes. 

· Troubleshoot customer concerns and coordinate resolutions. 

· Maintain product knowledge and provide accurate information. 

· Support daily retail operations and store presentation. 

· Deliver a positive customer experience that reflects Socket's commitment to service excellence.


What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required. 

· Customer service or retail experience preferred. 

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 

· Comfortable learning new technology and fiber service offerings. 

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

· Proficient with basic computer applications and systems. 

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

· Flexible to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.


What Will Help You Stand Out

· Telecommunications, internet, or technology industry experience.

· Sales or customer-facing retail experience.

· Experience with point-of-sale, CRM, or billing systems.
