For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer / MLOps Engineer
- Hands-on expertise with GCP (BigQuery focus) and modern data architectures (Lakehouse/Data Lake), including layered data modeling and pipeline design.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions or equivalent) for scalable, production-grade deployments.
- Proven ability to build and maintain complex data pipelines (batch & streaming), API integrations, and Monorepo-structured codebases.
- Practical MLOps knowledge covering model lifecycle management, packaging, deployment, and monitoring in production environments.
- Fluency in English B2/C1 + Portuguese (Fluent)
- Availability for a hybrid model (based in Lisbon, Portugal)
- Candidate has to be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
