Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading Records & Information Management (RIM) budget planning, forecasting, Records governance, and core project execution. The role oversees records operations budget management, drives footprint reduction and cost optimization initiatives, manages vendor and stakeholder relationships, and ensures successful delivery of strategic records management projects aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
• Leads Records budget planning, forecasting, tracking, reconciliation, and financial reporting activities across global records management programs.
• Monitors operational expenditures, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and drives records footprint reduction initiatives while ensuring service quality and compliance.
• Conducts financial and operational analysis, identifies variances against budget and forecasts, and provides recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develops and maintains records program dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Leads core Records projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed.
• Coordinates cross-functional teams and stakeholders to execute records transformation, digitization, retention, disposition, and process improvement initiatives.
• Identifies project risks, develops mitigation plans, and provides regular status updates to leadership and business partners.
• Ensures compliance with records management policies, regulatory requirements, reporting standards, and corporate governance expectations.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives through automation, process standardization, and implementation of best practices across records operations.
• Maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and business partners to ensure successful execution of Records services and projects.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Three-year Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Records Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically has 2–5 years of experience in records management, project management, operations management, financial planning, governance, or a related field.
