Molding Technician / Mold Mechanic – Manufacturing | Silgan Closures | Champaign, IL

What We Offer:

• Pay range $29.21 - $32.32 per hour
• Schedule: 2-2-3 with every other weekend off – Friday - Sunday
• Hours: 12-hour night,  5:45pm – 6:00am

What You Will Do:

• Set up, process, and troubleshoot molding machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule to maximize uptime and product quality
• Ensure parts meet all quality and safety requirements
• Monitor and maintain chiller and production system performance
• Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and management teams
• Maintain accurate documentation according to GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety standards
• Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and teamwork

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience as a molding technician, mold mechanic, or related maintenance role
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
