Lead Electrical BIM Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Electrical BIM Engineer / Lead Revit Drafter with extensive experience modeling and drafting electrical systems in Revit. This role is ideal for someone who has worked on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects and can produce highly detailed, construction-ready models up to LOD 500.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with leadership skills and understands how designs translate into real-world installation. Experience in the field or close collaboration with installation teams is highly valued, as our goal is to deliver accurate, constructible drawings to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed electrical BIM models in Revit up to LOD 500.
• Create construction-ready drawings for electrical power, lighting, and related systems.
  
• Lead and mentor a team of BIM drafters, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
  
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve design conflicts.
  
• Ensure models are accurate, constructible, and aligned with project standards.
  
• Participate in quality control reviews and establish drafting best practices.
  
• Support coordination for complex commercial and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using Autodesk Revit for electrical BIM modeling.
  
• Extensive experience modeling electrical power and lighting systems.
  
• Proven experience delivering models up to LOD 500.
  
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, or other complex infrastructure projects.
  
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and installation practices.
  
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  

Nice to Have

• Field installation experience or construction background.
  
• Experience with the Evolve Revit plug-in.
  
• Experience with mission-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or infrastructure projects.
  

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM ET
Compensation: USD salary
