Department/Specialty: Wound Care

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift

What You Will Do

• Operate and maintain the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems and equipment as prescribed by a hyperbaric physician and under the supervision of the program director or clinical coordinator.
• Monitor patients in the chamber and record patient condition, ensuring patient comfort and reporting any unusual occurrences.
• Maintain operating, maintenance, and safety logs on hyperbaric equipment to ensure compliance.
• Keep patient treatment records and collect necessary data as required.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Hyperbaric Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Paramedic obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board forRespiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
