Sales Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer
Territory: Eastern Massachusetts & Rhode Island
Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a Sales Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer to join a global manufacturer of cutting tools and high-precision tooling solutions used for CNC machining to cover the eastern half of Massachusetts.
This role is ideal for someone who already has experience selling cutting tools, and machine tool accessories or if you are currently a CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer who is looking to apply your technical machining background into a customer focused position.
Sales Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
• Work closely with distributors and partners to build strong relationships and drive growth across your territory.
• Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, arranging meetings, and managing a sales pipeline through a CRM system.
• Meet with machine tool builders, distributors and end users to discuss new tooling products and services.
• Attend tradeshows to promote and demonstrate new and current cutting tools and machine tool accessories.
• Manage and grow regional distributor performance and support territory strategy.
Sales Engineer / CNC Applications Engineer Requirements:
• Prior experience selling cutting tools, machine tool accessories or industrial equipment used in the metalworking / metal cutting sector is highly advantageous.
• A technical background as a CNC machinist / CNC Programmer is required for this role.
• Located in the eastern half of Massachusetts.
• Willingness to travel within your territory to support distributors and end users.
• Driving license.
