Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Asset management technicians must perform the following activities:
➢ Ensure efficient management of IT assets, handle tasks such as receiving, shipping, storing, pick ups and handling of assets while collaborating with colleagues and following our procedures and guidelines.
➢ Coordinate warehousing services, prepare outgoing shipments, verify, catalog, store,
distribute, triage and dispose of materials/assets efficiently, fulfill material requisitions, and follow proper handling and storage.
➢ Supporting Receiving and Unloading: Assisting with receiving incoming deliveries,
inspecting goods, and unloading packages.
➢ Receiving and Inspection: Assist with receiving incoming deliveries of telecommunication devices, including inspecting goods and unloading packages. Ensure that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
➢ Triage and Sorting: Aid in the unboxing and sorting of returned devices. Help
organize and separate devices based on the disposal strategy, such as reuse, donation, destruction, and recycling.
➢ Assisting with Inventory Management: Supporting the tracking and recording of
assets and inventory as needed. ·
➢ Maintaining Workspaces: Ensuring that work areas, storage spaces, and other facilities are clean and organized to facilitate efficient operations.
➢ General Administrative Support: Assisting with various administrative tasks such as
record-keeping, data entry, and communication with team members or partners.
Minimum Mandatory Qualifications: Education:
➢ Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Location of Work
➢ The Asset management technicians, shipping / receiving will work on site 5 days a
week from our warehouse facilities locate in Ottawa (King Edward and Tunney’s
pastures).
