Daikin Applied is seeking a Human Resources Representative to provide administrative and basic HR support across a variety of human resource programs including onboarding, benefits administration, recordkeeping, reporting, and employee and labor relations activities. Location: Staunton, VA - In-Office

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations in their areas of responsibility
• Responding to inquiries regarding human resource policies and procedures, promotion, pay, benefits, and conditions of employment
• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, periodically review orientation materials and make updates or recommend improvements as needed
• Support in the administration of benefit programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, 401(k) plans, vacation, and employee assistance for assigned location, including preparing employee benefit materials/packets for annual Open Enrollment
• Provide administrative support for union labor agreements including job bidding, transfers, wage changes, department changes, attendance, corrective action logs, etc.
• Maintain Human Resources files including employee files, medical/workers compensation files, training records, exit checklists, and other employee records
• Administer Service Award program
• Prepare reports, as requested
• Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative, customer service, or related business experience

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.72 to $42.44 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
