As Global Public Affairs Intern at Maersk, you will join our Europe team, with a particular focus on the Nordic countries, and work on live political issues alongside colleagues who advise senior management and engage with governments, authorities and industry organisations.

Key Responsibilities

As an intern in Global Public Affairs, you will work where Maersk’s business priorities meet politics, regulation and geopolitics. We support all parts of the business on political issues, and the team has a global remit.

You will contribute to tasks such as:

  • Contributing to positions and consultation responses on policy issues.
  • Supporting the planning of stakeholder meetings, delegation visits, seminars and other external engagements.
  • Taking on a defined project of your own during the internship, with responsibility for delivering it from start to finish.

Join us in this exciting role where you will make a significant impact on Maersk’s global engagements and strategic initiatives, driving forward our mission to connect and simplify our customers’ supply chains while leading the way in sustainable practices.

As Intern at Maersk, you will also become part of our international student network full of activities and events.

Who We’re Searching For

You are pursuing a master’s degree or are in the final year of your bachelor’s degree, in political science, economics, business or another relevant field at a Danish University based out of Copenhagen, Denmark.

You:

  • Can turn political and business issues into clear, concise analysis and written material.
  • Work in a structured way and with strong attention to detail, also when deadlines are tight.
  • Take ownership of your tasks and see them through to delivery.
  • Speak and write Danish or Swedish at a professional level, and are fluent in English.
