The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack & Platform Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and platform services using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

You will be responsible for delivering scalable backend services, intuitive frontend experiences, robust integrations, and highly observable systems. The role requires hands-on technical expertise across architecture, development, CI/CD, observability, and production support while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Engineering

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, reusable, and maintainable REST APIs and integration services.
• Implement asynchronous and event-driven solutions where appropriate.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Frontend Development

• Develop modern web applications using ReactJS.
• Build reusable UI components and follow enterprise design standards.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences.
• Collaborate with UX and Product teams to deliver intuitive solutions.

Database & Data Engineering

• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, indexing strategies, and performance improvements.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and application reliability.
• Support database migration and data validation activities when required.

Solution Design & Architecture

• Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Participate in architectural reviews and technical design discussions.
• Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to the platform architecture.

API & Integration Engineering

• Design and maintain internal and external APIs.
• Build integrations with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
• Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and monitoring standards.
• Promote reusable integration patterns and shared engineering frameworks.

Observability & Reliability

• Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting solutions.
• Build and maintain observability dashboards and operational metrics.
• Support proactive incident detection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Improve system health, reliability, and operational excellence.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate testing, code quality checks, security scans, and deployments.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps best practices.
• Enable frequent, reliable, and low-risk production releases.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and Platform teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and engineering reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability growth.
• Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Solid experience building REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Experience developing frontend applications using ReactJS.
• Strong PostgreSQL database design and performance tuning skills.
• Experience creating HLDs, LLDs, and solution design documentation.
• Good understanding of observability, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills / Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in: JavaSpring BootREST APIsMicroservices ArchitectureReactJSPostgreSQL
• Experience with: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)Docker and containerized applicationsCloud platforms (Azure preferred)Git and modern software development practices
• Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Application Insights, Splunk, or similar.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, security, and resiliency patterns.
• Experience contributing to HLD, LLD, architecture reviews, and technical governance.
