Clinical Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity to join the brand new St John of God Midland Private Hospital. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse, Critical Care (ICU/CCU) to help shape high quality patient care within a modern, purpose-built environment.  

You will be part of a founding clinical team, contributing to the establishment of best practice models of care while delivering safe, effective and patient centred critical care services. 

Successful applicants will hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and have recent clinical experience in critical care or an acute care environment. You will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and possess well developed communication, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.  

A strong understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards and codes of practice is essential along with a clear commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. You will bring a patient focused, quality driven approach to care and consistently deliver high standards of clinical practice.

About the new Midland Private Hospital 

• A brand new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility located just 300 metres from St John of God Midland Public Hospital campus.
• A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region. 
• The hospital features:
• 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit. 
• 33-bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit 
• Eight operating theatres. 
• A cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory 

We can offer you 

• Salary: $109,599 to $115,682 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
• Permanent part time position 
• 12-hour shifts
