You will combine strong expertise in cash collection and credit management with hands-on operational leadership. You will guide the team through the migration of activities into the SSC, help standardize processes, and ensure reliable day-to-day execution for customers and stakeholders around the world.

This role is suited to a professional who is respectful, accountable, comfortable working independently, and energized by teamwork and collaboration across cultures and virtual environments.

What you will do

  • Lead the daily execution of credit and collections activities for a global B2B customer portfolio.
  • Coordinate the migration of activities from existing teams and colleagues into SSC Mexico, ensuring business continuity and clear ownership.
  • Standardize, document, and continuously improve credit and collections processes, controls, and operating procedures.
  • Monitor customer accounts, open receivables, payment commitments, disputes, deductions, and overdue balances.
  • Drive timely cash collection through professional, clear, and consistent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Handle customer interactions related to invoices, payment status, account balances, credit matters, and collection actions.
  • Apply credit management and treasury practices to support healthy working capital and risk management.
  • Assign, follow up, and prioritize team activities to ensure service levels, deadlines, and quality expectations are met.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and practical support to team members while acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Analyze performance, identify risks and root causes, and initiate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and communicate operational updates, escalations, and performance insights in English.
  • Participate in process improvements, automation, knowledge transfer, and the implementation of standardized solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to applicable policies, controls, and agreed ways of working.

What you bring

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Solid experience in credit and collections, cash collection, accounts receivable, treasury, or a related finance operations environment.
  • Good English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of treasury and credit management practices.
  • Hands-on expertise in cash collection and customer account follow-up.
  • Experience handling customers in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
  • Experience in a B2B environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate people, follow up on activities, and maintain accountability for results.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Professional, respectful, dependable, and customer-focused behavior.
