Beaumont IT is working with a leading UK Managed Service Provider (MSP) that is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Professional Services Engineer to join its growing technical delivery team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled infrastructure and cloud engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex IT projects, delivering technical solutions and working directly with customers.
You'll play a key role in delivering infrastructure transformations, cloud migrations and modern workplace solutions across a varied SME customer base.
Working alongside Project Managers, Technical Pre-Sales Consultants and Solutions Architects, you'll be responsible for turning technical designs into fully implemented, secure and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical delivery of complex IT infrastructure, cloud migration and transformation projects.
Take ownership of projects from initial planning and implementation through to successful completion and handover.
Deliver Microsoft 365 migrations and deployments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID and Intune.
Implement and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions, including compute, networking and storage.
Deploy, configure and migrate Windows Server environments, virtualisation platforms and networking infrastructure.
Deliver infrastructure refreshes, server migrations and cloud/hybrid transformation projects.
Implement firewall, switching, routing and wireless networking solutions.
Work closely with Project Managers and Solutions Architects to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time and to a high technical standard.
Troubleshoot complex technical challenges during project delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
Produce accurate technical documentation, implementation records and handover documentation.
Ensure a smooth transition of completed projects into ongoing managed support services.
Technical Skills & Experience
We're looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in hands-on IT project delivery, ideally gained within an MSP or IT services environment.

About You
Beyond your technical expertise, you'll be someone who enjoys delivering projects and taking responsibility for successful outcomes.
We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
Significant experience delivering complex IT infrastructure and cloud projects from start to finish.
Strong hands-on technical implementation skills rather than purely support-focused experience.
The ability to independently manage technical project delivery.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working across multiple customer environments and technologies.
A collaborative approach to working with Project Managers, Architects and other engineers.
