Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with maintaining orderly access and traffic flow for inbound and outbound vehicles, while communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
