Description

Most health equity reports read like checklists. We want ones that make the case clearly enough to change decisions.

Elm & Oak Health is hiring a full-time HEIA Technical Content Writer to turn complex data, research, and community voices into clear, compliant Health Equity Impact Assessment reports. You’ll take Census figures, utilization trends, and stakeholder interviews and build them into narratives that show who a healthcare change will affect, and how. You’ll work directly with our Chief Strategy Officer and the HEIA team as we grow this work, and every report you write will be published.

If you write precisely, think in systems, and care about who gets left out of care, we’d like to meet you.

This is a remote, work from home position. Candidate is required to reside in Rochester or Buffalo area.

Grade 209: This is a full time position, working from home.
The minimum and maximum annual salary that Elm & Oak Health believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting are $67,604 - $82,628. In addition to your salary, Elm & Oak Health offers a comprehensive benefits package (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) and non-monetary perks. The company is fully committed to ensuring equal pay opportunities for equal work regardless of gender, race, or any other category protected by federal, state, and local pay equity laws.

POSITION SUMMARY

The HEIA Technical Content Writer will assist in drafting the final report summarizing findings from a Health Equity Impact Assessment (HEIA). The writer will work closely with the HEIA team and attend stakeholder meetings to keep the report accurate and on track through delivery.
