We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Planner to drive maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing detailed maintenance work plans, coordinating resources, managing CMMS activities, and improving equipment reliability while supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Create detailed job plans including labor, materials, tooling, permits, and safety requirements.
- Manage work orders, PM programs, maintenance history, and KPIs within the CMMS.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and contractors.
- Ensure parts, materials, and resources are available before scheduled work.
- Analyze maintenance data, downtime trends, and equipment performance to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Lead maintenance scheduling meetings and drive schedule compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, RCFA, and reliability best practices.
- Promote compliance with OSHA, LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience planning, scheduling, or coordinating maintenance activities.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms (SAP, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint, or similar).
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of maintenance planning or maintenance leadership experience.
- SAP PM or Maximo experience.
- CMRP, CRL, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma certifications.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

- Maintain 90%+ schedule compliance.
- Achieve 95%+ PM completion rate.
- Increase planned maintenance work to 80%+ of total maintenance hours.
- Reduce emergency breakdown work orders.
- Improve equipment uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Maintain accurate CMMS records and backlog management.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
