Role Summary
We are seeking a junior- to mid-level Workflow Developer / Microsoft Power Platform Engineer to join our global infrastructure team. This role is ideal for a Power Platform developer who wants to build practical workflow and AI-enabled solutions in a global investment environment. The role is based in our Baarn office in the Netherlands, with in-office presence required for at least three days per week.
In this role, you will work close to the business and help design, build, and improve workflow solutions that support teams primarily across the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, and Spain. You will contribute to scalable process improvements and deepen your hands-on expertise across Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft AI tools, while working closely with experienced Power Platform and IT specialists in the Netherlands and the United States.
What you will do
You will develop and optimize workflows across the Microsoft technology stack, including Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry. Your work will support modern enterprise Power Platform solutions and help orchestrate and unlock the value of AI tools.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Build foundational Power Apps components, including model-driven forms, canvas apps, and Dataverse tables.
- Design and implement workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Dataverse, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Partner with senior Power Platform engineers to build and maintain solutions.
- Enhance existing workflows for greater efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and provide technical support. Note that we are in the process of automating our support work utilizing AI Agents, so this is a diminishing exercise.
- Document workflow processes and maintain clear technical documentation using modern tools and practices.
- Stay current with Microsoft technologies and apply relevant developments to workflow solutions.
We are looking for someone who is curious, pragmatic, and eager to learn. The right candidate enjoys translating business questions into practical workflow solutions, communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and is comfortable asking questions, testing ideas, and improving solutions iteratively.
The team
You will join a two-person Power Platform developer team within a broader Netherlands-based technology team of eleven persons that includes Data Engineers, Project Managers, Power BI Specialists, Data Warehousing experts, and Workflow Developers. You will also work closely with experienced IT specialists in the United States.
Benefits of This Role
- Scalability: Develop and implement workflow solutions that enable seamless scaling of operations across multiple European offices, showcasing your ability to drive growth and efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Access to Expertise: Learn from our experienced US team, which works directly with Microsoft for support and guidance. You will also be able to join collaborative sessions and in-depth training focused on making the most of our available AI applications.
- Secure Access to AI Tools: Work hands-on with Co-Work, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry in our secured enterprise environment, with the opportunity to explore, develop, and implement AI-enabled workflow solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to grow from building and maintaining workflow components into broader solution ownership across Power Platform and AI-enabled automation. You will have the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise while learning how technology supports investment operations, data processes, and business optimization across Cerberus Europe.
