About the Role

America & Beyond is seeking a detail-oriented Garment Merchandiser to manage the complete order execution process, from design handover and sourcing to production and final shipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in garment merchandising, vendor coordination, procurement, production follow-ups, and communication with internal buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate directly with the company's buyers and design team to understand product requirements, quantities, specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Take ownership of orders after design finalization and order placement.
• Manage fabric, trims, accessories, and raw material sourcing and procurement.
• Coordinate sampling, approvals, and pre-production requirements.
• Oversee the complete production process, including IPC (initial production coordination), production follow-ups, and final execution.
• Work closely with factories, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely order completion.
• Monitor production schedules, product quality, costing, and shipment deadlines.
• Coordinate inspections, packing, dispatch, and final shipment to the designated destination.
• Maintain accurate order tracking reports and regularly update buyers on production status.
• Identify production delays or sourcing issues and proactively resolve them.

Candidate Requirements

• Hands-on with tech packs, TNA calendars, lab dips, strike-offs, fit/PP/size-set samples, PP meetings, costing sheets, and AQL inspections.
• Familiarity with US compliance and testing requirements (third-party lab testing, care labelling, packaging and shipping standards).
• Prior experience in garment merchandising, sourcing, or apparel production. US fashion brands preferred.
• Success is measured by on-time delivery, costing within budget, and quality pass rates.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, sampling, and manufacturing processes.
• Nice to have: experience with ERP, PLM or order-tracking systems, and comfortable communicating with vendors in Hindi and with management in English
• Experience managing orders from development through final shipment.
• Strong vendor negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to communicate directly with buyers and senior management.
• Good Excel, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and strict delivery timelines.

Preferred: Experience working with fashion brands, garment exporters, or apparel manufacturing companies.
